This is my family's favorite steakhouse. Last year, we were in Oklahoma City and we took our family to Cattleman's Steakhouse. (It's world famous.) As we ate at Cattleman's, I kept thinking that I always have better food at Longhorns in Foley. Yesterday, my wife had Flo's 6 Oz sirloin steak with all the fixings. [What you need to know is she never eats steak without A-1.] Yesterday's meal was perfect and she says it was the best steak she has ever eaten. [No A-1] She also raved about the strawberry salad!

Food was good. Service was ok. Besides watching the young male host at the desk stare at my wife's bottom as we were taken to be seated, nothing stuck out as particularly bad. But, nothing stuck out as particularly great either. 2 kids meals and 2 entrees with 2 sodas a sweet tea and one beer was $80 plus a tip. We are tourists so we would most likely not return anyways but if we were locals, we probably wouldn't come back either. I would guess that the only reason they are open is because the steakhouse competition is minimal. We were seated fairly quick on a Tuesday evening. That was a plus. Also, the food came quick too.

This is like eating in a 5 star dinning establishment. The service is tops. Andrew was excellent & attentive. Never had to wave him down. We had lunch & ordered the steak sandwich with soup or salad. The soup was lobster/ shrimp chowder & really good. The meat on the sandwich was so tender. Great place & you will think your dinning at the Ritz!!

Great service! We sat at the bar to just get some drinks and apps and then decided to stay and get dinner as well. They food was great but more importantly the bartender was fabulous. She was very attentive and when she could give us her full attention she did make eye contact to let us know she hadn't forgotten about us. They would chit chat us with but not intrude on our date night. She answered all my questions honestly (I was being very indecisive that night!) and the food was great! I had surprisingly never been to a long horn before and I left very happy and wanting to go back! A plus for me... Delicious French onion soup!!!!

Long time fan of longhorn steakhouse. Back home my family and I eat there nearly weekly. However on vacation this particular longhorn fell far short from what I'm used to. Our 20 minute wait turned in to nearly 50 minutes. There were over to ten vacant tables most of which needed bussed. It was aparent our waiter was on some sort of drug. Once those issues were rung out the food was spectacular. It does seem as though they were pretty understaffed. Flo's filet bacon wrapped is one of the best steaks ive ever had.

I've eaten at Longhorns in several areas & they are consistently good. The filet is melt in your mouth & the appetizers are always yummy. I always treat myself to a pomegranate margarita. The atmosphere is good, even with a family friendly nature. It is quiet enough to linger over dessert & conversation.

Good, just make sure they understand exactly how you want your steak cooked! I asked for medium well and they brought it medium rare. nasty! Service was good and food much better than Outback in my opinion.

The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was extremely enjoyable. I ordered an app (the firecracker chicken) and it was really good. My mom ordered the parmesan crusted chicken and it was also delicious (yes, I had to try it). The thing that put here over and above was our waitress. I didn't get her name, but she was incredible. She was cracking jokes with us, something that gets me every time, and she was so nice. Definitely made the visit that much more enjoyable. If we come again, I really hope we get the same waitress or that all of them are just as nice.

Ok....so I really like this place but was very disappointed in the apparent need for the hostess on duty New Years eve...to get off as early as possible ...We were a party of 2 that at 8 Pm was told that it would be at least an hour for service.. The parking lot was about 2/3 full and she was steadily tuning people away with the same ridiculous story... Only about 6 to 8 people actually waiting in the bar area.. We left but as we went back to the parking area smelled something fishy and went back in just as 3 more party's were leaving due to the supposed wait time.. We gave our name and ordered a drink from the bar(nice drink too). We were seated in approximately 10 minutes... Sounds like the manager needs to work on the hostess.... Great food and service once seated but the hostess needs a heart to heart from management ... Sure left a bad taste on a good meal..

Been here once on a recent vacay & DAMN, I was highly impressed. By far, it is the best semi-formal chained steak houses available. Definitely better than Outback, and Texas Roadhouse. It's a shame that we don't have one of these in New Orleans. Everything about this place is nice, from the hostess to servers. The only thing that kind of freaked me out was all the horns all over the place, hence "long horn" I suppose. But as for the food, it was nothing short of perfect. For starters, we had your typical bread & butter but we also ordered the shrimp and lobster dip. Yum..It was so mouth watering AND they actually added a lot of lobster. For entree, I ordered the 18oz ribeye with sweet potatoes & sauteed mushrooms for sides. I NEVER in my entire life attempted to eat a steak that big...but for some reason I almost finished it. It was just so flavorful and yet, the seasoning did not take anything away from the steak itself. The sauteed mushroom had this cajun taste that was addicting. I could not stop eating it! Sadly, for the sweet potatoes..I did not even attempt to try it. I was so full, but the presentation was pretty. As for my bf, he ordered the 16 oz Tbone with fries and salad. There's not much to say about his sides since they're your typical sides. For his steak..I wouldn't say I enjoyed it, but it was aiiiiight. It had a gritty dry taste to it, but my bf said he enjoyed it. I still think mine was better though since it was so juicy and tender. Mhmmmm.

Easily one of the best Steak Houses in our area. While, yes it is a Chain restaurant, it is so very well managed and staffed it is most enjoyable. My husband and I never order from the "specials" list. We may intend to when we decide to go there but upon arriving we end up choosing something else. Their Ribeyes are always excellent. We will always choose the strawberry pecan salad. It has yet to let either one of us down for a true taste treat. Earlier this year we had planned on going out for St Valentine's day, instead our dog decided to have puppies early locking us at home. My husband ran out and bought our dinner To Go. From salad to steak it was nothing shy of excellent! We spent the evening welcoming new souls into the world and feeling very special that our dinner plans had not been reduced to reheated left overs. The ambienece is tyical for a chain restaurnat but again service has yet to be less than excellent, management is ALWAYS on the grounds, dining early is not tricky, many restaurants seem to think if you eat before 7 you are not simply retired but you have lower standards. Not SO! LongHorn appreciates it's retired customers as much as it does it's prime time diners. And THAT is the sign of an above average chain restaurant. We will continue to enjoy meals there both by ourselves and with family, friends and business associates.
